Parsons BFA Communication Design Thesis Project

My thesis project “Perception of Emotions” acts as a new way of perceiving emotions. Looking at different facial expressions and the way people talk, smile, cry, extracting them and putting them together, creates new ways of how people perceive emotion as well as gets rid of limitations. It makes the viewer raise questions and wonder rather than give solutions. By creating new combinations of emotions or “new emotions”, design becomes a new way of exploring and researching. The project reconsider our perception of emotions through methods of extracting and combining and becomes a new world of what people did not know before.
